Instead of ice cream

Hi girls!

You might know I have just a little problem when it comes to organizing my polish stash. Well now with move in new apartment I lost old polishing space that I had so well organized. So all polishes needed to go back to shoe box-(es) and in my closet since there is no other place to safely store them.

And here the problem began. To chose a polish for manicure I had to get all out and look for the one I liked, and that was no fun. So I decided I need to make some sort of organization. A lot of girls usually go for nail wheel, but I found them pretty expensive and not practical. So instead I decided to go with swatch sticks.

I didn't come up with idea by my self but come across here. I just loved the idea an I liked how functional it all looked.

So to started I ordered a big package of false nails on Born Pretty shop. This ones to be exact. Than I needed some wooden ice cream sticks and a hot glue.

So here are my swatch sticks. They are still in box waiting for me to make some sort of stand to store them.

This sorting also helped me to choose all those polishes out that I love and work great with my skin, and the ones that look to odd on me. And thanks to this sticks I can now swatch polish ASAP and don't need to ruin my current manicure. Also color comparison is so much easier.

  4. I'm doing something similar. But it's taking me awhile since I have so many polishes. I also use nail wheels and they are stored in an Ikea Helmer.
